A lot of our own like to backbite the Dems for their losing ways. but the general punditry class always goes to the same sort of hoohah that borrows much from mischaracterizations manufactured and generated constantly from the right.
It comes down to this: Our team just ain't willing to fight enough.
Here is what they're up against. Ya got an irreverent, base level stupid, big mouthed man, whose number one tool of engagement is blame. He pretty much gets everything wrong, but takes no responsibility ever for fucking up which is basically all he does. Then when he runs into questions and adversity, he blames others. He has legendarily blamed Obama, Hillary, Biden, usually just randomly outa the blue. Now that he's screwing up the economy he blames Jerome Powell for not lowering the interest rates, and he blames the lady who publishes the job reports when he has a series of really bad ones. He has certain idols he doesn't blame - Putin, Bibi for starters. The real trouble starts to set in because all his moron followers just take his word for whoever he points his finger at. I have literally seen a thousand posts by MAGA parroting his attack on Powell for said interest rates by people who don't know economics from shinola. Same people have been allowed to turn Obama, Hillary's and Biden's name to mud following their Lied Piper and the result is, the masses now just despise the Democrats because they've all hopped onto Trump's shallow assed sociopathic blame machine. Biden's presidency was discredited one month into his term. Not for any reason, except Trump blamed him. The sociopath would have no credence but for the dummies in the line behind him tooting his blame horn.
but............. and this is a big fucking butt. The left allowed it. We not only allowed it but we see ourselves too often as intellectuals who stand back and look over the scene with our bothsideser binoculars and serve to do damage to our own cause. The other side doesn't have that cinder block weighing them down, they happily jump on board and help Karoline Clown preach her ridiculous lie of the day with the fakest, most obviously made up numbers in Fakemanialand. Had we all been fully engaged when the right wing megalomediasphere rot descended down upon Biden immediately when he took over, and Mitch did the same openly with Obama announcing their all flanks opposition to him before his inauguration, we could've fought back their stupifying onslaught, we'd still have a name now maybe, we could still openly call ourselves Democrats or Liberals and not have to look at raised eyebrows. Fuck, we had no fight at all. Only in recent weeks have we seen any trace of the eye for an eye awareness we're gonna need to prevail for democracy. Leaders have emerged. We already got a few yanno, so I don't want to slight AOC and Bernie, Chris Murphy and Cory Booker, Adam Schiff and Governor Pritzger, Buttagieg and Swallwell, Pelosi and Jeffries, but lemme tell you, Gov Newsom and Gov Hochul are as huge as the Underdog float coming down 5th avenue on Thanksgiving with their stand on gerrymandering. Winning is what we need now, there comes a time when the end justifies the means and the Dems must be done with fighting with both hands tied behind our backs. All we're proving by fighting fair anymore is that we're weak and losers.

Trump handicapped their efforts to deal with that flood situation with all his shortsighted cuts and what the butcherblockheaded righties in the Lone Star State got outa that was to want to follow Trump's edict and cheat more hapless rightie seats outa that stone. but some of us are finally saying Losers. No the media won't be on our side. We got our beacons at MSNBC but most everywhere you turn you see cowards.
